Quotes and T.D.M.L.

I've started reading a book titled “A Great Controversy” by Ellen G. White like 3 years ago but I never got around to finish the whole book not even close to half of it. Sooo me! As to why, don't ask hahaha. Just got lazy and the lack of commitment on my part, err! Though been starting slowly getting back the habit of reading a book with plans to finish this one first (the book I've just mentioned). Moreover, I want to quote a line where it said:  

“Satan seeks to divert men's thoughts and affections from God, and to fix them upon human agencies; he leads them to honor the mere instrument, and to ignore the Hand that directs all the events and providence. Too often, religious leaders who are thus praised and reverenced lose sight of their dependence upon God, and are led to trust in themselves. As a result, they seek to control the minds and consciences of the people, who are disposed to look to them for guidance instead of looking to the Word of God.” 

Strikingly true aw... Anyhow, have I mentioned I'm nocturnal? Haha I got home at 3am from the café, I slept around 9am or almost 10 after rummaging through my old things while listening to music on my phone which serves as my mini mp3 player. I enjoyed reading and laughing at my old letters, finding some of my old diaries and what I wrote in my daily mini organizer, I also found notes when I was in my high school years. Then thought I'd post and share some of my old stuff  here that I've managed to still keep through the years... A trip down memory lane(T.D.M.L.).

This one is from a classmate, I think in my 2nd or 3rd year in High School, who passed this to me, written in a little piece of paper, that says “It began in France and now it's here. Write the name of a boy you love, inside the box provided below and keep it for 8 days...Don't break this letter, otherwise you'll have a bad luck for 2 years with guys. A week is given to distribute to 5-9 of your friends except me” then with a little box drawn below it...as naïve as I was I carefully wrote the name of my H.S. crush in a heartbeat and willingly passed it on to my friends hahahaha, should I type his name on here? *undecided* Nah you can just view it in the picture. Though hopefully no one knows him here *looks around* shh don't tell on me ok? scouts honor? Heehee just kidding! I think there's no harm in spilling it here and besides its high school for crying out loud! Way back 11 or 12 years ago, lmao and I thought gosh! my penmanship looked different every year. Again this was in H.S., chain letters are NO FUN for me as I've grown up, in fact I'd get so annoyed when I get one, NO OFFENSE I just hate it especially on my Friendster account. I remembered I posted a few messages on my FS bulletin saying something like -- "To all my friends, close friends, family and cousins Please don't send me chain letters or messages anymore, and it doesn't mean that I love you less but it's just really annoying. Thank you"-- after consistently receiving emails only to find they were all chain letters. Happy that I have emails waiting for me to be opened and I get all excited but only to find out that they were nothing but chain letters that I finally broke into a fit of anger. Thank God no one sends me chain letters anymore. *big smiles* Well that's all the story for now...I'll go and watch TV. God Bless and be safe!
